BS Crim, BPE undergo AACCUP Level IV Survey Visit

(AACCUP) formally opened the online program accreditation for Level IV survey visit for the College of Criminal Justice Education’s Bachelor of Science in Criminology and the College of Education's Bachelor of Physical Education on Wednesday (April 15) morning via Zoom.

Tarlac State University and the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines Inc. (AACCUP) formally opened the online program accreditation for Level IV survey visit for the College of Criminal Justice Education’s Bachelor of Science in Criminology and the College of Education's Bachelor of Physical Education on Wednesday (April 15) morning via Zoom.

“This program will allow us to appreciate your accomplishments, identify best practices, and provide recommendations that will support your continued growth,” Dr. Ronnie Parica from the University of Rizal Systems and the AACCUP coordinator said when he discussed the purpose and procedures of the accreditation.

Dr. Nino Corpuz, Director of the Office of Quality Assurance, introduced the AACCUP survey team composed of Dr. Arthur Gubia-on and Dr. Janice Milo, both from Ifugao State University, as the Team Leader and Lead Accreditor, respectively, for BS Criminology.

While Dr. Jenny Esiong, Team Leader from Benguet State University, and Dr. Rhea Bunda, Lead Accreditor from West Visayas State University, will evaluate and assess the BPE program.

The survey team will base the Level IV assessment on research, graduates' performance, community service, international linkages and consortia, and the planning process for each program.

“The preparation that you have done is an act of ‘malasakit’, genuine care for the students, whose future is pressed on the quality of your progress. To our AACCUP survey team, we open ourselves to your review with honesty, humility, and confidence… We welcome your findings, affirmations, and recommendations alike as the instrument of our continued growth”, OIC president Dr. Maura Consolacion Cristobal and CHEDRO III regional director said in a message delivered by Dr. Jasper Jay Mendoza, Vice President for Academic Affairs.

The online accreditation for both programs will conclude on Friday (April 17).
